I have a Sandisk 240gb SSD with Windows 7 on it, and a 1TB Western Digital Blue hard drive. I just built my first ever PC yesterday. After I had built it, I booted it up and inserted my Windows 7 disc. I was asked to pick which storage drive I wanted to install windows onto, (my Hard drive was an option, so I know it is connected properly) and I picked my SSD. Then windows started installing, and eventually I was at my desktop screen. I installed all the standard drivers that come on discs with the motherboard and the GPU, and then it came to installing the programs that I wanted to download onto my hard drive, like anti-virus, Steam, etc, - That was when I realised that my hard drive wasn't showing up. I checked on disk management and it says that it's 'online', but it said "System reserved: 100MB NTFS" and then it had 931gb was "Unallocated" I really don't know anything about Hard-drive "tech-speak", but I've heard words like "formatting", "partition" and "NTFS" and "AHCI"
